Round Stairs.

1. Watched the record last time,everyone focus on the foot, expect changing somewhere, but no one focus on the video and the screen on the wall, so if just keep the top projector for the floor view, maybe the power of the work can be concentrated. But if the shadow of people will influence the show? Or change to two project on the floor slantways, or using the mirror to reflect on the floor, what happens?

2. Why keep the stair element? Stair has 2 property, one is up, another is down. That means one is searching out, another is back to your heart. This just tallies with the question about virtuality and truth. If we choose to continue the exploration, or choose to back to the nature? Contradiction as well.

3. Concept talk: Let people go into the stair game, with interaction, then people could think the value of this works. Whirl, is a good point for this game, lost into the virtual world, what the next step? does the game stop? how and when? according to what?

4. Sound problem: If using live steps sound, input the laptop and change into echo, then output to speakers. To catch the steps sound is question one and the feedback of the sound is question two. Maybe a mini microphone could be sticked on the shoes of the volunteer. Or if I put 4 microphone on the edge of the screen, what happens?

5. Now I've done a Patch for Bang signal startup by the sound intensity. Stair rotation direction is a problem. That is a square stair, if let a square rotate, people can not match the steps on the stairs. If change to a circle, maybe better. But, if the optical illusion could build a circle stair by 3D model? Or it can just be made by graphic? Ascher's works have some different model I could choose.
